Cup and Saucer Two Part Workshop

☕️ Your finished product will be food and beverage safe! as well as Microwave and dishwasher safe

In this two- week workshop, you will learn how to design, build and decorate a cup and saucer!

During the first class, I will teach you how to build a pinch cup and attach a handle to make a cup. We will also be making saucers using a slab technique. All materials are included. After the first week, I will dry out your pieces and put them in a bisque (low fire) to make them ready to glaze for week two.

During the second week, I will teach you how to apply underglazes to decorate your cup and saucer. I have almost every color and we can mix colors if you want something more specific. After your pieces have been painted- I will dip them in a clear glaze and fire them once again so they are food safe.

The workshop is held in my Hamtramck studio storefront.  There is free parking out front and on the neighborhood streets. You are welcome to bring your own beverages to the course.  

Cups will be ready for pick up 1-2 weeks after the class.
